My Bio
Surrounded by the breathtaking Ozark landscape that defined my childhood, my perspective has always been influenced by a vibrant inner life. From early on I wondered, “Who is the me who is looking out through these eyes?” and “What is this spirit that lies all around us as the beauty of Nature?”
To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only end of life. - Robert Louis Stevenson
My high school classmates assigned this quote to me in our senior yearbook. Clearly I’d already identified with the role of being a seeker, an identity that has only deepened and ripened over time.
I was delighted to discover the study of psychology in high school and created my own degree program in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology in college. I built upon my academic studies with years of personal growth work, counseling, groups, and workshops. My ability to connect and empathize with people influenced my career choices and interests every step of the way. Most recently I became very interested in the role our unconscious wisdom plays in guiding and informing our lives, and took up the study of Voice Dialogue, dream work, journaling, and SoulCollage. As we mature, I think we all become philosophers and I have worked hard to make my philosophy as grounded and truthful as possible; I see this work as a lifelong commitment.
My abundant inner life has been influenced by a stimulating exterior life. I grew up professionally in the high tech corporate world, in demanding positions that I balanced by being a world traveler. These days my life as parent of teenagers is steadied by a mature meditation practice. Concrete training solidifies a dynamic mix of personal growth studies. Seeking these complementary experiences leads me to passionately bridge the cognitive and the intuitive for others. This is why I offer coaching and intuitive counseling and SoulCollage. I’ve found this combination to be a potent combination of inner wisdom and outer action.
As a coach, I believe that all people are inherently whole and can come to rely on their own wisdom. As someone who has trusted intuition for many years, I know that finding the right guidance at the right time will bring about great leaps in understanding, effectiveness, and fulfillment.
My life purpose is to connect people to the richness of their inner lives and assist in uncovering what is uniquely theirs. I am drawn to the yearning people feel to express who they truly are, particularly at mid-life and beyond. Coaching, intuitive consultation, and SoulCollage allow me to support the discovery of the part of the Universe that is yours and yours alone. It’s an exciting journey and I am honored to be part of it.
